Every month is different. Every NOTRIGHTS mailing revolves around art, words, creativity, connection and kindness.
What's in the envelope?
A changing collection of art, words and little physical things. No two mailings need be exactly alike.
A small piece of NOTRIGHTS artwork for that month’s mailing.
A proper letter worth making a brew and sitting down to read.
Something original to read, keep or rediscover later.
No corporate motivational bollocks; just something worth thinking about.
Small physical things to keep, use or stick somewhere.
Low-pressure creativity. No talent, judging or perfection required.
A blank postcard or similar item to write on and send to somebody else.

Become part of NOTRIGHTS. If membership isn't open yet, leave your details to be first to know.

Once a month we put together your NOTRIGHTS mailing and send it the old-fashioned way.
- 03 You open it
Make a brew. Open the envelope. Read something. Keep something. Make something. Send something on. Then wait for the next yellow envelope.
You don't have to be good at art.
Somewhere along the way we decided art was something you had to be good at. It isn't.
Draw something wonky. Write something terrible. Paint outside the lines. Make something nobody would buy.
Make it because making things feels good. That's enough.
Discover Bad Art
It Started With Eric…
MJ's dad Eric made art because he enjoyed making art. He didn't need an audience, algorithm or business model. He simply made things. Life got busy, and MJ stopped doing the same. NOTRIGHTS began with picking up that creative thread again.
Bad Art No.001 is inspired by Eric's original dog drawing.
